How to Create Guest User in Microsoft Azure?

 Are you looking for the procedure to create "Guest User" in Microsoft Azure?

A Guest account can access resources in a tenant and with an administrator role, can manage tenants. You can invite external users to your tenant as a guest user. 

Anyone with a business or consumer email account such as Outlook, Gmail or others, can participate as a guest in Teams.

Here are complete steps to create Guest User in Microsoft Azure:-

Step 1: Sign-in to your Azure Subscription and search for Microsoft Entra ID. 




Step 2: You must be Global Administrator or User Administrator to create Guest User. 

Step 3: Click on "+ Add" and select user>invite external user. 


Step 4:  Fill the Basic Tab info and then click on "Next Properties ". 



Step 5: Fill some Option Properties (see attached pictures as example) and click on Assignment




 

Step 6: In Assignment, Select User Role and give the role to this guest user as "User Administrator". 




Step 7: Click on "Review + Invite " and then click on "Invite". 


Step 8: Open the e-mail of Guest User and an invitation email will be there and you need to accept to join the organization. 


you need to accept the permissions. 



Finally. you joined the organization as guest user.
